DIY Faux Ceramic | Quick tutorial to transform old wine bottles into art

The pictures speak for themselves! I literally became obsessed with this technique and painted everything in my house. I’m afraid I will start stealing bottles from my neighbor's trash can. SOMEBODY SEND HELP!!!!!

SUPPLIES

· Leftover wall paint

· Baking soda

· Natural fiber brush

· LOUD MUSIC !

HOW TO:

- Add two spoons of baking soda to each one cup of paint. Blend it well and brush it over your bottle, vase, cup, or whatever you have available.

- Allow it to dry for 1 hour or so, and give it a second coat of the same paint (I kept the paint well stored in a paper bowl inside a Ziplock bag)

- Let it dry for the rest of the day

- Have fun with your gorgeous faux ceramic looking bottles

(I also blended some different colors of paint to achieve an even more beautiful look. Try with what you have and let me know how it turns out!)

I said it would be a quick tutorial!

I have this tutorial on my YouTube channel in Portuguese. Check it out if you have a minute!

By the way, here are the colors of samples I got for this project:

* Gold Seal CI 80

* Cypress Point CI 36

* Cinamon Sugar CI66

* Baking Stone CI 105

* Crimson Glow 2011-5
